Gallery Updates - 18th August 2010
Added a new Medway Queen gallery to the Media page. Richard Halton had this to say:
"New wagons just received from Dapol, no doubt you have already read about them in N Gauge Journal.Naturally, I hope to be able to tempt at least some of you into adding one (or more) to your collection, so I will bring some along to the next B.A.G. meeting (September).
Our fundraising priority is now the refurbishment of the main steam engine. "New Medway" ventilated vans and conflats and a range of "Albion Dockyard" wagons for N are currently available. See our web site for details. This year's Kew Festival of Models will be on October 2nd/3rd."

After an unfortunate burglary ealier in the year, I have been informed by Peter that following a tip off on eBay, two of his cases of rolling stock have been recovered by Thames Valley Police and should be back with him soon. This is a an excellent development that should see over 80 items of Peters collection returned (I hope) is unchanged condition!

Winnersh fete - 22nd June 2010
Congratulations to Guy and Adam, who against all the odds managed to complete the diorama of Hurst/Winnersh Halt, it looked fantastic, we hope to have some pictures available soon, but it will be on display at the club meeting on the 23rd June for all to see.
We also enjoyed having our large modular layout to play with, so a great time was had by all, thanks to Peter D for the invitation and to all that helped on the day.

Open Day 2010 - 12th April 2010
Congratulations and thanks to you all for your support and help on the day, although we outnumbered the visitors at various times during the day!
Special thanks go to all our Ladies who provided and delivered the lunches and cakes etc, and of course to the champions of the Tombola, who not only out sold their previous record but kept us entertained all day.
We will have the draft results for members on Wednesday, but expect a poor result as the attendance figures were very low and we only had two traders in the Medway Queen and the Bring & Buy sales to provide additional donations to our results, but our thanks to Richard and Roger for their continued support.

Calendar Update - 22nd February 2010
*IMPORTANT* 21st August Running Afternoon has been cancelled due to the Church holding a Wedding.
As the 21st August is now free, it has been suggested that we hire a larger venue to create the largest modular layout possible. This would be accompanied by a brunch/buffet/BBQ free of charge. If you could please let the committee know if you think this is a good idea for our 10th anniversary and if you have modules available on the Saturday 21st August. Any suggestions of a suitable venue would be very useful.
Photo's of Peter Dunsterville winning entry for the 2009 Chairman's Challenge have also been added to the Chairman's challenge page.
Well done Peter.
